Le VDD possède le label École Française de Badminton niveau 3 étoiles (sur 3) octroyée par la FFBA grâce à la qualité de sa formation auprès des jeunes.  Il propose aux jeunes de 5 à 17 ans des entraînements collectifs et individuels, des créneaux de jeu libre, des stages, des tournois amicaux (internes, avec les adultes, avec d’autres clubs ou des joueurs d’UNSS ). Après deux séances d’essai en septembre, le VDD attend des jeunes une présence assidue aux entraînements hebdomadaires ainsi qu’une volonté manifeste de devenir, chacun à son niveau, des compétiteurs. LES CRENEAUX OUVERTS AUX JEUNES : Rapidement, les jeunes devront préciser leurs motivations et leur disponibilité afin que le club puisse les placer dans le niveau le plus adapté , allant de l’initiation jusqu’au compétiteur espoir. Aux jeunes appartenant aux groupes « compétition 2 et 3 » seront proposés plusieurs séances d’entraînement et de jeu libre hebdomadaires. Selon leurs disponibilités et leur niveau, et après concertation avec leurs parents, ils s’entraînent 2, 3 voire 4 fois par semaine, en suivant entre autres des créneaux adultes. Ils s’engagent en contrepartie à participer à au moins cinq tournois dans l’année. LES CRÉNEAUX JEUNES DE BASE : MARDI et MERCREDI
CERTIFICAT MEDICALAutant que possible, le club souhaite que ses jeunes s’inscrivent avec un certificat médical permettant le surclassement, différent selon la catégorie ( formulaires téléchargeables sur notre site : Section Téléchargements)
